Earth Blessings - Reweaving Connections to Kith and Kin: A Day Retreat

“Dare we pick up the pieces of our heart as it is broken open time and again and reshape those bits into a greater capacity to hold more - more suffering, more love, more grief, and more joy. More of the rich hues and deeply textured fabric of a life lived fully.”
- Leah Rampy, Earth and Soul: Reconnecting amid Climate Chaos

We live in uncertain times when species and ecosystems are increasingly at risk. Our souls hunger for sacred relationship with all creation, yet it can be difficult to discern the way forward in the midst of so much suffering and devastation. In this day-long retreat, we’ll explore ways of reclaiming our kinship to the living world around us and expanding our capacity to remain both present to reality and hopeful to possibilities, as we practice being fully present to what is, just as it is.

Through brief teachings, ongoing conversation and reflection, small group discussions, and spacious contemplative practices, Leah Rampy will lead us on a soul journey of grief and loss over the devastation of our earth to a place of joy and possibility that is possible when we reweave our connections to kith and kin who are awaiting us. Participants will leave with contemplative practices that they may choose to continue to support their ongoing journey of love and care for the Earth and all creation.

Please bring a bag lunch. Coffee, tea, and light snacks will be provided.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

We recognize that sometimes plans change and you may not be able to attend a program for which you are registered. On rare occasions, the Well may also need to cancel or reschedule a program. Both situations are disappointing, but we are prepared with the following options.

If a program is cancelled by Well for the Journey, or rescheduled and you cannot make the new date, a full refund will be provided to you. For programs with pre-scheduled Inclement Weather Dates, refunds will be provided only if both the original scheduled date and the planned Weather Date are cancelled.

If you are unable to attend a program for which you are registered, you may gift your ticket to another party. Please notify the Well with your request at kristan@wellforthejourney.org and provide the name, mailing address, and email address of the person who is taking your place at the program.

If you cancel your registration 72 hours or more prior to the program start time, you may request a refund up to 50% of the program fee or request that your 50% refund be donated to the Well’s Scholarship Fund. Please contact the Well with your request at kristan@wellforthejourney.org .

Refunds are not available for cancellations when notification is received by the Well in less than 72 hours prior to the start of the program so that sufficient funds are available to cover the Well’s administrative expenses. We sincerely appreciate your consideration of the time and effort that the Well and your Facilitator put forth in bringing your program to life and thank you for your understanding of our Cancellation Policy.
