Description Attend the Spring Luncheon and learn how to use the tools from the Women’s Congress for Future Generations resource toolbox in your community. We're here to help you make the case for protection of the things you love and the precious resources we share. If you have ever longed for a hands-on workshop or "shop class" for activists, rest assured, this is that shop class.

This event is all about how you can use the tools and principles of the Women’s Congress for Future Generations, to affect change in your community and on larger issues affecting many communities. On May 12th we will be welcoming two women who are involved with the White Bear Lake court case, Katie Crosby Lehmann, the lawyer representing the citizens of White Bear Lake and Judge Margaret Marrinan. In this landmark case, Judge Marrinan used the public trust doctrine to protect White Bear Lake and to show how government can fulfill its charge to care for the commonwealth and public health for present and future generations. This case showed a clear roadmap for protecting all of our shared commons.

Join us the day before Mother’s Day as we celebrate mother earth and all of us who nurture present and future generations. We have missed each and every one of you and hope you are able to reconnect with us and the exciting work that lays ahead. We want your voice at the Women's Congress table.

What to bring: Yourself, a notebook and pen, a friend, and a contribution to the “potluck salad”. We’ll provide the greens, a variety of dressings, beverages, and desserts. Consider bringing vegetables, fruit, tuna, chicken, cheese and crackers—whatever makes a great salad for you. We know it will be delicious! Thank you!
