Description Pilgrimage of Courage & Remembrance: Sharpsburg, MD
How did courage and faith impact The Battle of Antietam, the bloodiest battle in the Civil War? How can the events surrounding this history inspire us today amidst the conflict in our community and world?
Journey with a group of pilgrims to this hallowed ground. We will hear stories of courage and sacrifice and learn about those involved in this historic battle and in this town. At the center of the infamous battle is a house of worship associated with peace and love. The Dunker Church, a humble country house of worship, is perhaps one of the most famous churches in American military history.
We will conclude this contemplative journey with a simple service of remembrance. Space is limited!
